Our Vision
The vision of WeCode2 is to introduce minority students (grades K thru 12) to a STEAM based education. These programs will inspire a lifelong love for the exploration of technology.

Building Character
It has been said that character can be measured by what one would do if no one were looking. True character is instilled at a deep level so that positive behavior is automatic. Our program highlights the main pillars of character and encourages growth and devlopment in those areas.

Our Mission
Our Mission is to expose our children to other options, not traditionally found in minority communities, and allow them to grow at their own pace to develop a love and/or interest in a STEAM based education.
This is accomplished through hands on coding and robotics classes, outings, specialized workshops featuring CEOs of tech companies and trips to some of our nation’s most notable technology schools.
College Readiness
We strive to prepare our WeCode2 students to succeed academically and socially in the college environment. This goal is achieved by providing the students with an academically based, intensive program of study that emphasizes skills in writing, reading, speaking, and leadership.
Building our community
Through community outreach we can transform our society. Under privileged youth remain at a disadvantage when they are not afforded equal opportunities. Our aim is to even the education playing field and tip the scale to their advantage. Giving children access to higher learning educational tools are key to accomplishing this mission.
